December Employee of the Month

Norma Dado

Norma Dado, December 2008

Norma Dado is a very reliable and dedicated employee.  She has worked for Maryville for 11 years.  She has the respect of her co-workers and her guidance and support help ensure that things run smoothly when her supervisor is away.

Norma was born and raised in the Philippines.  She is the fourth in a family of seven children.  While in the Philippines, she met and married her husband, George, and they have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

In 1997 Norma and George came to the United States.  After arriving here, they both applied and began working at Maryville.  Norma in Housekeeping and George in Maintenance.  After a while George left Maryville to become a Security Guard at another company.  Norma took classes and became a CNA.  She worked in that capacity for a few years until she was injured.  Not wanting to leave Maryville, Norma decided to take a job in the Laundry Department, where she is now the Assistant Supervisor.

Maryville is fortunate to have her as an employee and she is most deserving of the recognition and honor as “Employee of the Month”.
