Volunteering
Maryville is always looking for compassionate people to assist with resident needs. Whether it be talking or reading with someone, helping with meals, transporting to and from activities, assisting with special projects, or working in our gardens, there are many opportunities for volunteers.
All volunteers over age 18 are required to fill out an application and have a background check completed prior to service. Volunteer interviews take place on Tuesdays from 10:30am to 1pm. Maryville is currently in need of volunteers in the following areas:
- Male and Female volunteers to serve as companions to residents in the last hours of their lives.
- Male and Female volunteers to serve as companions and visit weekly with residents.
- Male and Female Korean speaking volunteers who would be willing to read to residents.
- Male volunteer who would be interested in leading Maryville's Mens Group on Thursdays at 10:30am.
- Male or Female volunteer who would be willing to help with Bingo on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays at 1:30pm
- Male and Female volunteers to assist residents at mealtimes. Training provided.
