Delores Focht
Nursing has been both a rewarding and challenging career for Delores who came to Maryville as a Registered Nurse in 1970.
Delores’ first experience was with Maryville where she stayed for 10 years. She was directly involved with resident care as a unit charge nurse. Desiring to explore another opportunity, she started a 20 year job as an Occupational Health Nurse with Tektronix, Inc. After that experience she opted for a very brief retirement, returning to Maryville in 2002.
She and her husband, Walt, have two sons, Gregory and Donn, and 4 grandchildren. Delores is a sports fan, and some of her hobbies include reading, crocheting, and sewing. She looks forward to spending time with family on holidays, birthdays, and special family events.
